Insta Update.

Hi Lovelies!

I have finished uni until September and the weeks are flying by! I still have exams to sit in May, and have lots of work experience lined up for Summer to keep me busy. With work and revision I haven’t had much spare time, so while I’ve got the chance I thought I’d update you with my recent Instagrams!

ImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImage

1. Rose Cupcakes, my 2nd attempt! See pic no. 6 for my 1st attempt they were delicious!

2. Rose decorated sponge cake, think i’m getting the hang of it!

3. My litograph poster of Anna Karenina. If you have never heard of one before its basically the words from the book made to look like a   picture.

4. Remember this.

5. My classic fave Vogue, and my new fave Porter. What are your opinions of Porter Magazine? In my opinion Issue 2 definitely lived up to the pretence of issue 1! Trying to convince my boyfriend for a subscription now ha!

6. Rose cupcake, 1st attempt! So its okay, but I didn’t have the right tools at this point.

7. GLASTONBURY. So I can’t actually contain my excitement for Glastonbury this year! Festival fashion, fun, sun (hopefully), brilliant music and amazing friends! It what Summer is about!

8. Mothers Day. My Sister, my Mum and I.

Hope you are all having a lovely week so far! Almost the weekend, have fun.

So last week was so nostalgic for me, summer is coming, the weather was really nice, and I was thinking lots about last summer! Me and my boyfriend went to Las Vegas, it was amazing! I am also trying to diet at the minute hence the waffle (sob) I just want to eat everything!

I bought this Lancome lipgloss a couple of months ago and completely forgot about it! You can’t really tell on the picture but its so bight! Its like a pink/Purple colour, you can buy it here.

I love the Vogue on books, as I am studying Fashion in Uni they’re a great source of reference! I have the whole collection and they look so cute on my book shelf! This week I was reading up on Cristobal Balenciaga, mostly as I loved the AW14 collection! THOSE oversized coats!

I love a Illamasqua lipstick! They don’t bleed, they don’t smudge, they’re just amazing! This colour is called Corrupt, perfect for summer!

If you read my last post you will already know about my Kurt Geiger obsession! I wore my yellow Glaciers on saturday night as it was my friends birthday and they where just perfect! I kept my outfit really light, white shirt and a pastel pink pair of skorts, and then added the shoes, bright nails and necklace for a nice colour pop!

I bought these floral printed Paper Dolls trousers as i just loved the print! They’re so pretty! You can buy them here.

And finally more new shoes! I’ve wanted these shoes for so long! Before christmas they had them in grey and black. When I seen these pink ones i just couldn’t resist! Again, perfect for summer!

I hope you like this post! let me know what you think, I always comment back!

Have a lovely week!

Literally Obsessed with KG’s

The sun has set on fashion weeks across the globe and I needed a pick me up!
I’m so exited to share some new additions to my wardrobe!
When it comes to shopping i’d draw a comparison between myself and Rebecca Bloomwood, admittedly I am a shopaholic and it is an issue!
Theres no better feeling than getting home after a long day shopping untying the ribbon on a shiny red Kurt Geiger bag and removing the holy grail, a brand new pair of KG’s.
I find myself justifying each new purchase. At first it would be notable events in my life, a new job, passing my driving test, birthday’s etc. But now I find myself searching for reasons, bad week, good week, bad hair day the list goes on. When there are shoes involved I will find an excuse!
This week I have bought two pairs of Kurt Geiger’s and I have a third pair on the way. As I said, it’s an issue!
Anyway on to the good part! Shoes!
My first buy was these Carvela flats! I’ve been lusting over all the pointed flats on the catwalk this season so it just seemed like a perfect match!

My second purchase are these fluro barely there sandals for an added colour pop!

They’re so bright! I’m in love!

Real Techniques MakeUp Brushes.

Hi lovelies, so I’ve started to slack on the blog front which i promised myself I wouldn’t do! I’ve been so busy with uni (this is no excuse) but I’m back!

If like me you love your make-up you’ll understand the frustration of trying to find the perfect make-up brushes without forking out lots of money!

My MAC foundation brush was on its way out and at £27 I just couldn’t justify replacing it!

I picked up the real techniques foundation brush in Boots, you can buy it here, and I was so pleased with it! Its so soft, applies my makeup beautifully and it doesn’t clog up like other foundation brushes do. If anything I would have to say it is much better than MAC’s.

This is where my fondness for Real Techniques started! Since then my make-up brush collection has expanded, my other favourite is the blush brush! I love it for contouring, they do do a contouring brush also but I find the blush brush isn’t as harsh and is great for applying my Illamasqua countering duo! I will post about this at a later date because I love it it’s amazing!

Boots stock a wide selection of the Real Techniques brushes including brush sets! I would really recommend them!

I usually spend my weekends working however this week I was off! The aim was to make the most of the weekend freedom! I spent Saturday shopping in the day and partying in the night! And Sunday I chilled with my boyfriend!

I thought I’d share some pictures and what I bought on Saturday!

I bought this necklace on Saturday, from Topshop, I love it! I’ve wanted one just like this for a while so when I seen it I had to have it!
